Safety through skillful supervision is the first priority of our Summer Camp. The program is available for children in kindergarten through 5 th grade. We offer a 1:15 ratio on-site and a 1:8 ratio (often less) when away from Carpe Diem.
But most of all, Carpe Diem Summer Camp is about fun and learning. We emphasize activities and special project themes that incorporate reading, language, math, science, social studies, computer skills, art and dramatic play.
Summer Camp curriculum includes music and Spanish classes conducted by specialty teachers and, most popular, field trips all over the DFW metroplex.
Children visit museums, art galleries, zoos, sports venues, stage performances, puppet shows, and movie theaters. They also swim, bowl, hike, play putt-putt golf, ride ponies, ice and roller skate, ride on the DART system and view Dallas from the top of Reunion Tower.
Advance enrollment in the spring is first come, first served. Choose the weeks you wish to participate until all places have been filled. Tuition includes the cost of all field trips and special events. The registration fee includes two Summer Camp T-shirts; children must wear this shirt on field trips for easy identification.
Breakfast (served until 8:00 a.m.), lunch, and morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Sack lunches or restaurant visits are offered if field trips extend through lunchtime. Calendars of events are posted on our website and in the classroom. Please pay close attention to field trip departure and return times.
Carpe Diem Summer Camp gets rave reviews – providing education and experiences that last for years
