Summer Camp Registration – Richardson

Instructions

Please select the weeks you would like your child to attend. For Weeks 3 and 6, you must select either the Main Camp option or the STEM Camp option; your child cannot be enrolled in both options during the same week. A $100 registration fee for the entire summer will be applied at checkout.

Week 11 - Community Helpers

Students will learn the various community helpers that work to better our community by working on various research projects to expand their knowledge. Children will choose a local business to help collect donations to be contributed.

Week 10 - High in the Sky

This week students will learn about the different types of aircrafts and historical figures that made an impact in flight transportation. We will also have a field trip to a local flight museum.

Week 1 - Play Ball

This week we will be offering different types of team building activities in which children will learn various sports that include a ball and will be able to identify sports played around the world.

Week 2 - It's a Jungle Out There

Students will be able to learn the parts of the rainforest and the animals that live there by doing research activities and visiting the Dallas Zoo.

Week 3 - Grossology

This week we will learn about chemistry and biology by conducting science experiments.

Week 4 - Circus

This week the students will learn the different elements of a circus by working together to build a Carpe Diem Circus and performing for the school and parents.

Week 5 - Music Makers

This week students will learn the names and sounds of various instruments with Ms. Lisa.

Week 6 - Blast Off to Outer Space

This week we will learn the name of the planets and various facts about them and about space by building a mini solar system.

Week 7 - Culinary Creations

This week we will learn how to read a recipe, follow step by step directions and learn measurements by choosing a recipe and creating a grocery list of items needed. We will also conduct a grocery store scavenger hunt.

Week 8 - Wet N Wild

This week is all about water safety by learning the basics of CPR and life-saving procedures. We will have a Splash pad field trip and water game activities.

Students will learn facts about various countries by conducting research projects and sharing cultural dishes.

Week 3 - Junior Physicist

Unlock the forces that drive our universe! From mastering matter to exploring fundamental forces, future-physicists learn through hands-on projects such as designing a gravity maze and constructing a kaleidoscope. Topics like magnetism, density, and friction come alive! Kids love rocking out on their homemade rubber guitar and going for the high score on their DIY pinball game. Through exploration of exciting physics concepts, kids develop a better understanding of nature and the world around them.

Week 6 - Junior Astronaut

Three, two, one…blast off! It’s time to fall in line for astronaut training! Campers dive in by earning their helmets and jet packs as they discover what it takes to make it in outer space. Next up: Escape Earth’s gravity to explore the Sun, the Moon, and many of the solar system’s interesting features. From launching Alka-Seltzer rockets to creating satellite spinners, budding space explorers learn the ropes as they prepare to take off to infinity and beyond!
